Melanie Mickelson-Graham is director of energy research at Capital Policy Analytics. She previously worked as a Presidential Management Fellow at the Department of Energy, supporting bilateral policy negotiations between the United States and East Asian countries.
At the Department of Energy, she was detailed to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs, Subcommittee for Asia, Pacific and the Global Environment. Mickelson-Graham worked on matters relating to China for The Cohen Group, the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission and the Department of Defense.
Mickelson-Graham has an M.A. in international relations from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in economics and Chinese from Brigham Young University.
